About Rolando Monterrey

I’m a South Florida guy thru and thru. Born and raised in a little city called Hialeah where I spent most of my life before making the move to Hollywood. I’m and easy going person who is as friendly as they come. My hobbies include traveling and sports. You will see pictures of places I’ve traveled to on posts I create for my socials. And you guessed it all my favorite sports teams are from South Florida: Panthers, Heat, Marlins, Hurricanes, and unfortunately the Dolphins lol. For those who don’t know, the Dolphins lose a lot.

I graduated from FIU in 2016. While I was in school I began my journey in Finance/ Accounting. I’ve held positions as an accounting assistant, accounting specialist, treasury analyst, and banking associate. All this experience and education equipped me with the tools I needed to run my own bookkeeping business.

For better or worst I was born with the math gene. Ever since a youngster I’ve always needed things to make sense; there had to be an order to things. I always excelled at all things math, yes even calculous lol. Even aptitude tests I’ve taken all indicate that I have an analytical mind and am best suited to work in this type of industry. So naturally when I came across this profession it was an opportunity to take something I am good at and combine it with something I’m passionate about: building the foundation of detailed and organized bookkeeping principles and using the financial data it creates to advise clients on how to best run their business and save them money.
